About 'Ayisha Manzil Homestay'

Built in 1862 by Murdoch Brown, a tradesman from the East India Company, and bought in 1900 by the Moosas, a local family of Muslim spice traders, Ayisha Manzil in Kannur district, Kerala is a grand colonial structure. This two storey mansion facing the profound Arabian sea now serves as a home stay centre for travellers with its spacious rooms and homely cuisine. Places like Thalassery beach, cinnamon gardens at Anjarakkandy planted by Murdoch Brown etc are easily accessible from here.
