About 'Ambalavayal Heritage Museum'

The Ambalavayal heritage Museum in Wayanad district is home to the largest collection of the remnants of an era dating back to the 2nd century AD. These remnants show us the kind of civilization that existed in the forests of Wayanad.

Among the collection of the artefacts and curios, one can find items like arrows, bows, prehistoric stone weapons, clay models and sculptures, etc. This archaeological museum attracts both the historians and the laymen.

Located 12 kilometres from Sulthan Bathery, the museum is open from 10 am to 5pm.
