Kozhikode beach is situated about 1 km away from the Calicut city. This beach has an old fashioned light house and two crumbling piers, each of which are dated back to more than a hundred years for its construction. The beach is excellent for sunset watching.

The Lions Park and the Marine Water Aquarium attached are obsessive to the children who visit the beach. This video clip was taken during an evening, while the sunset watchers are yet to come to witness the event.
