Located towards the south east of Kalpetta, in Wayanad district of Kerala, India, is the Kanthanpara Waterfalls, a splendid and picturesque cascade situated at about 30 mts height that is comparatively smaller than Sentinel rock falls. Sentinel rock falls or Soochipara waterfall is another waterfall situated around 23 kms from Kalpetta.

Kanthanpara is not a frequently visited spot and hence the place is peaceful and serene. Needless to say, this mesmerizing cascade cradled in the luring beauty of the nature, is ideal for picnicking.
