Marayoor is one of the favourite destinations of anthropologists and archaeologists. This place which is located in the Idukki district of Kerala State, India is famous for the dolmens found here. Locally known as Muniyara the dolmens found here belongs to the Megalithic Age. These are granite structures in the shape of a table with dressed surfaces on the top.
