Thrikkavu - A shrine dedicated to Goddess Durga

Featured in this video is Thrikkavu, a shrine dedicated to goddess Durga, located at Ponnani, Malappuram district of Kerala, India. The goddess here is worshipped in two different forms - Durga and Saraswati. It is believed as one of the 108 Durga temples consecrated by Lord Parasurama, the creator of Kerala. The temple is famed as the ancestral shrine of Samoothiris.
