Vidya Niwas Mishra was a Hindi – Sanskrit prose writer, scholar and journalist. He was a renowned scholar in both Hindi and Sanskrit languages. He had written criticism on The descriptive Techniques of Panini, Bhartiya Bhasha Darshan Ki Peethika, Agnipath and Bhartiya Bhashashastriya Chintan.

Basically he was an essayist and his contributions are Mere Ram Ka Mukut Bheenj Raha Ha and Tum Chandan Hum Paani.
