Bateshwar, a cluster of temples located in Morena district, State of Madhya Pradesh, India is believed to be the creation of Mother Nature. The temple architecture displays the craftsmanship during the ancient time and resembles the world famous Khajuraho temple structures. Mostly dedicated to Lord Shiva, a good number of these temples are in ruined state. The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has undertaken the restoration works of these temples.
