Presented in this video are the rock-cut Jain temples in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh state of India. It include giant rock-cut sculptures of the Tirthankaras (the 24 great Jain teachers).
Most of the Jain sculptures were vandalized and castrated by Muslim armies in the 16th century and were rebuilt later. It is one of the most visited places in Gwalior.
