Situated in Yerwada near Pune in Maharashtra State, India, Aga Khan Palace is a beautiful monument covered with special stones made up of Italian arts. Also known as Gandhi National Memorial as its association Mahatma Gandhi, who was kept at this palace under house arrest in the 1940s along with his wife Kasturba Gandhi and Secretary Mahadevbhai Desai. Both Katurba Gandhi and Mahadevbhai Desai Samathi’s (memorials) are located in the Palace campus.

This palace bears a beautiful museum with picture gallery showing photographs and statues of Mahatma. There is also a wide assortment of his personal items, including utensils, clothes and furniture’s.
