Shown here is the Cave 15 of the 30 rock-cut cave monuments of Ajanta Caves in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The cave has a verandah. The shrine which stands against the wall is of the very earliest type. Though there are no attendants gandharvas are seen above. The shrine consists of an image of Buddha, with feet turned up.
