The Swatantraveer Savarkar Smarak is a seaside memorial which was built to honor Savarkar, a freedom fighter in India. This park has been erected on a plot of 6650 sq.mts.

The main attraction of this place is a life size statue of Savarkar which has been constructed in the midst of a beautiful garden. Two fountains within the garden lend an enhancing appearance to this place.

People usually spend their time in this place for relaxation. The Smarak has other facilities like a National Museum of Revolutionaries, Reference library, Military training Centre, yogic and Physical Training Centre, Medical Centre and a Mobile Hospital.
