Presented here is an excerpt of a Carnatic vocal recital by Shencottai Harihara Subramaniam, one of the upcoming Carnatic vocalists in India, performed at the Neelakanta Sivan Music festival held at Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala State. The annual Neelakanta Sivan Music festival is held in the memory of saint-composer, Sree Neelakanta Sivan. 

Accompanying him on violin is R. Swaminathan, Trivandrum L. Gopalakrishnan on mridangam, Trivandrum Rajesh on ghatom and Neyyanttinkara Krishnan on mukarsangh (Jew’s harp).
