Presented here is a Carnatic vocal recital by Smt. Vijayalakshmy Subramaniam, a noted Carnatic music vocalist. The occasion of this performance was the annual Neelakanta Sivan Music festival held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. 

Vijayalakshmy Subramaniam a student and performer of classical music, has also conducted numerous workshops and lecture-demonstrations on various aspects of Carnatic Music. 

Accompanying her on this performance are Sri. Trivandrum N. Sampath on violin, Dr. G Babu on mridangam, and Sri. Trivandrum Rajamani on ganjira (tambourine).
