Hundreds of devotees of Buddhism come to Bodh Gaya in Bihar, India from Thailand. Recently two such devotees from Thailand took up monk hood. The ceremony was conducted under the Bodhi Tree amidst the chanting of sacred hymns. Bante Achan Vichian, already a monk, said that if one took up monk hood, one can lead a peaceful and successful life.
