Ustad Allah Rakha was a very popular Tabla (an Indian percussion instrument) player. The Ustad popularized the art of Tabla world widely and thus elevated the status of the instrument.

Zakir Hussain is a classical tabla artist of India and a film producer. Son of Ustad Alla Rakha, Zakir has created his own space in the world of Hindustani music by this marvellous rendition of Tabla.
