An old mummy in Jaipur museum

Jaipur, the Pink City in Rajasthan is home to an unlikely attraction. It has the world’s oldest mummy. This 2300 year old Egyptian mummy was brought to Jaipur by the British to be exhibited at the Albert Hall Museum here. It is the mummy of a lady called Tutu who was a female member of a priest family of God Chem. She belonged to the Ptolomaic period of 322 to 30 BC. This mummy was found in Akhmin, which is ancient Panopolis.
