Gooseberry or aamla is a deciduous tree of 8 to 18 meters in height and is known for its nutritious fruit. The greenish yellow fruit is spherical in shape with simple leaves and it tastes astringent. The dried gooseberry fruits are of high medicinal properties and are mainly used in Ayurvedic and Unani treatment methods. Shown in this video is an aamla tree in Pushkar, Rajasthan state of India.
