Kapali Yantra at Jantar Mantar, Jaipur, is divided into two hemispherical parts known as Kapali. The western Kapali as a prototype of the Jai Prakash instrument and represents the plane of the horizon. The eastern Kapali was used for solving astronomical problems graphically.
