Tsomgo Lake - A glacial lake in Sikkim

Located at an altitude of 3,780 m (12,400 ft), in the Eastern part of Sikkim, India, the Tsogmo Lake is a glacial lake amidst the mountain ranges of the mighty Himalayas. The name Tsogmo literally means “above the lake” and it was given by the Yak herders who lived here long ago. You can enjoy yak ride at this place located around 35 kilometers from Gangtok.
