Featured here is a Jallikattu, played in a village near Madurai. This bull taming sport played in the villages of Tamil Nadu, differs from the Spanish Running of The Bulls in that the bulls called by the name Jallikattu Kaalais are not killed in the end an the bullfighters are not allowed to carry any weapon to the field. Jallikattu is usually conducted as part of the Pongal celebrations especially on Mattu Pongal day.
