This video features the popular Marina Beach at Chennai (Madras), Tamil Nadu state of India. This beach is acclaimed as one of the longest beaches in India. It is a major tourist spot within the city.

The length of this beach is so much that it spreads over12 kms beginning from Fort St. George till Besant Nagar. There are various statues of famous people along the roadside of Marina Beach like Mahatma Gandhi, Thiruvalluvar, Kamaraj, Sir. Thomas Munro and many others.

Also the monument building of former actor cum politician, M.G. Ramachandran, is also located near this beach.
