This video features one of the oldest churches in Ooty, Tamil Nadu state of India. This popular church is situated in the Nilgiri mountains. It was built during1829 and blessed in 1830. It was erected in the Gothic style of architecture.

The huge wooden beams of this church are made from the wood that was obtained from Tipu Sultan’s palace at Srirangapatnam. The church has a gallery which is worth visiting. The grave of John Sullivan, one of the pioneers of Ooty is also seen near the church.
