Maharaja Bir Bikram College, Agartala

The Maharaja Bir Bikram College, established in 1947 is one of the pioneering institutions of higher studies in Tripura state, India. The architect and founder of the college was Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishor Manikya Bahadur, the last king of Tripura. The main building of the college is a fine specimen for Mughal architecture.

Affiliated with the University of Calcutta, the college offers various graduate and psrt-graduate courses. Recently the college’s centre of Post-Graduate teaching is affiliated with to Tripura University.
