Aarti in Ganga, Haridwar

Since river Ganga flows through this place, it is considered as one of the holy cities in the country. The aarti is a ritual of worshipping the Ganga River with the audience singing Bhajans or devotional songs.

It is a visual treat and is a very interesting ritual. You can see the priests chanting holding wick lamps.

This ceremony is considered as the most auspicious occasion of the day. Devotees from all over the country will take part in this ritual when they visit Haridwar.
