The whole of Himalayan foothills are known for wide variety of butterflies. And the trek path that from Sangam Chatti near Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand towards Dodi Tal Lake is no exception. Butterflies in various size and colour could be spotted hovering around wild flowers and some feeding on the moisture content on the ground.
