The Buddhist temple at Clement Town in Dehradun is different. It has wonderful wall paintings depicting the life and times of Buddha. The temple is attracting tourists from all over the country and outside with its unequalled all paintings which took 50 artists three years to complete. They used mostly gold paint. The temple built in 1965, is itself the replica of a monastery in Tibet.
