Included among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the majestic Agra fort is situated on the banks of river Yamuna. The fort has been built by thick and strong walls built of red sandstone.

The fort mainly has four gates – Amar Singh Gate, Delhi Gate, Water Gate and Darshani Gate. The only entrance that is open to the visitors is the Amar Singh Gate.

The fort was built by the mighty Mughal Emperor Akbar. The fort comprises of many beautiful palaces and pavilions. This fort is one of the must see travel destinations of Agra city in Uttar Pradesh state, India.
