The Chinese community living in Kolkata in  West Bengal, India  is gearing up to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year. With the Year of the Ox, families are gearing up to spend the Lunar New Year, as usual despite an economic downturn. Cultural shows are being organized to ensure that the young stay connected with the Chinese culture.
