Makeshift temples of Conch shell

Makeshift temples made of Conch shell were an attraction at this years Durga Puja festival in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The five-day long festival in dedicated to the Hindu Goddess of power, Durga. One of them styled after Nepal’s Pashupathinath temple drew a large number of devotees with its beauty and splendour. The organizers had used only conch shell to make the temple.
