West Bengal in India is famous for its Political activities. Party processions are usually seen on the roads of Kolkata (Calcutta). Party members hold party flags and march through the busy roads in the city.

Members from different parts of the city are carried to the meeting place in trucks and buses. Traffic is controlled by the State Police force. Not only men but women also become the part of such processions. These party processions show the strength of democracy.
