This video features the street vendors on Chittaranjan Avenue (formerly Central Avenue) in Kolkata (Calcutta), West Bengal state of India. The place was rechristened as Chittaranjan Avenue after Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das.

The C.R. Avenue starts from the Esplanade in the south to near Shobha Bazaar in the north. This is a busy road within Kolkata city where you can find many important complexes.

This street is also well-known for the vendors on the roadside. You can see various small shops selling vegetables and fruits along with some pan shops. There are also textile shops on the sides of this bustling street.
