Featured here is a village life in and around Matla at Canning in West Bengal. One of the two branches of Matla River passes through Sundarbans. It forms a wide estuary in and around the Sundarbans in South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. The river has dried in the evening and villagers can walk over the river bed.
