Sindbad the Sailor -1952

Directed by Nanabhai Bhatt the 1952 release Sinbad the Sailor was one of the early adaptations about the adventures of this fictional sailor from the Arab World. The film stars Ranjan, Naseen, Nirupa Roy, Pran and Bhagwan in the lead roles. This costume drama was produced by Deepak Pictures.

Composer Chitragupt shot to fame especially through the songs from this film. The song "Ada se jhoomte huwe" was a hit during that time.
