INS ‘Jalashwa’ in Republic Day Celebrations

The Indian Navy is all set to showcase INS 'Jalashwa', the biggest amphibious ship of the country, during the Republic Day Parade 2009 on January 26 in the national capital. INS Jalashwa joined the Eastern Fleet of the Indian Navy upon its arrival at Visakhapatnam naval base on September 12, 2007. Lieutenant Commander Anshul Awasthi will command the Navy's contingent during the parade.
