Save Girl Child campaign in New Delhi

Launching the Save Girl Child campaign, President Pratibha Devisingh Patil flagged off a roller skating marathon in New Delhi. Considering the increasing percentage of female feoticide in India, Akhil Bharatiya Aggarwal Sammelan has started a Beti Bachao Aandolan or Save Girl Child Campaign. Prior to this campaign, a marathon on roller skates has been conducted from New Delhi to Gujarat, a distance of 5132 kilometers.
