St. Peter's Church, Goa

Located in old Goa or Velha Goa (Velha literally means old in Portuguese) in India, is the Church of St. Peter’s, which was built in the16th century. Old Goa is a historical city situated to the north of the north Goa district.

This is a small church and in one of its altars the image of St. Peter can be seen. He is considered as the Prince of the Apostles, to whom the church is dedicated. St. Peter’s church is one of the most visited religious centers in Goa.
