Dholavira, one of the archaeological sites noted for the ruins of  Harappan culture,is located in the Kutch district (Kachchh) of the State of Gujarat in India. It belongs to the Indus Valley Civilization and is located exactly on the Khadir bet island in the Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary.

Flanked by two storm water channels – the Mansar in the north and the Manhar in the south, Dholavira was an important centre of trade between south Gujarat and Western Asia.
