Amarnath community kitchen, Jammu and Kashmir

The pilgrimage to Amarnath in Kashmir, India is difficult to say the least. But now some NGOs and private individuals have come forward to ease the travails of the pilgrims. The main improvement is the setting up of community kitchen which provide free food to the pilgrims. Though not high class, pilgrims are satisfied with the food served by these community kitchens. These kitchens are called ‘Langars’.
