Medicinal plantation encouraged by farmers, Jammu and Kashmir

Demand for herbal medicines has been increasing day to day and the supply of these Ayurvedic medicines is unable to meet the demand in the markets. The agricultural department authorities in Jammu are encouraging the farmers to plant crops with medicinal value. The agricultural department of Jammu is running an awareness camp in which the farmers are given demonstrations to inform them about these plants and cultivation techniques.
