Mist covered Agumbe village

Portrayed in this video is the freezing beauty of Agumbe, a village in the Shimoga district of Karnataka State, India. Also known as Cherrapunji of South India, Agumbe receives enormous amount of rain throughout the year. With lush greenery and misty air all around, Agumbe is also a favourite destination of trekkers. The Agumbe Rainforest Research Station – the only rain forest research station in India is situated in this rainy hamlet.
