Mysore, the cultural capital of Karnataka
Mysore, also known as the City of Palaces is the cultural capital of Karnataka. The city’s rich heritage is nourished with a lot of heritage monuments, hills, museums and the unity of religions. Shown in the video are the three major religious centres in the city of Mysore.
The centre of Christianity is at St. Philomena’s Church, Jamia Masjid Mosque the place of Islamic tradition and Sri Ranaganatha Swamy temple where Hindu devotees offers prayers.
Instead of this the city is known for its Mysore Palace Complex, Chamundi Hills and the historical town Srirangapatna or Srirangapatanam.
