Ingredients for Kichadi

Chopped cucumber - 2 cups
Green chilli – 4
Small onion – 3
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Dry red chilly – 2
Curry leaves - 2 sprigs
Curd - 1 cup
Salt to taste
Oil

Method of preparation

Into a medium-sized pan, put chopped cucumber and add a cup of water. Proceed to add the coconut paste made by grinding coconut, green chillies, cumin seeds and. Add salt and stir well. Allow it to cool and then add thick curd and mix well. You may now season the curry with mustard seeds, dry chillies and curry leaves. White Kichadi is now ready for serving.
