The fair during Thrissur Pooram

During the seasons of large scale traditional festivals, local fairs are often conducted to cater to the requirements of the festival and also to the needs of the crowds that throng the place.

Thrissur Pooram Exhibition, held at the Thekkinkad Maidan (ground) of Thrissur (Trichur) in Kerala, South India, is one such fair held in connection with the larger festival of the town, the famed Thrissur Pooram.
