Shown in this video is Govt. Women’s College, a pioneering institution located at Vazhuthacaud in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, India.

Started in 1897, this college was initially known as ‘The Maharaja’s College for Girls’ and was affiliated to Madras University. Later in 1957, after the state of Kerala was founded the college was affiliated to the University of Kerala.

The institution has 22 teaching departments and offers around 16 postgraduate and undergraduate courses. The main aim of this institution is to provide the students with quality education in basic science and humanities.
