Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education, Thiruvananthapuram

Featured in this video is the Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education located at Kariavattom, a few kilometers north of Thiruvananthapuram city, Kerala, South India. This institution is a part of the academic wing of Sports Authority of India (SAI).

Affiliated to the University of Kerala, this is a unique institution for physical education teacher’s training by providing undergraduate and postgraduate courses along with research in various related standards. Apart from academics, this college also offers sports training schemes of SAI in a few disciplines.

The college is located in a sprawling campus of 50 acres, which has all the facilities including swimming pools, play grounds, training halls, cycle velodromes, class rooms, assembly hall, labs and hostels.
