Combat ships of India and France in Kochi

With about 250 personnel on board, the French Navy's frigate 'Jeanne d'Arc', as a part of the five-day exercise with Indian Navy, anchored at Kochi in Kerala. The exercise has been termed as a friendly call at the port. Addressing the media persons on board, the Commanding Officer of 'Jeanne d'Arc' said that the purpose of the exercise and visit to India is to facilitate effective interaction between cadets of French and Indian naval arms.
