Mampara View Point, Palakkad

Mampara View Point is a picturesque spot in Nelliyampathy, the hill destination of Palakkad district. From this peak, one can have the view of the entire stretch of the beautiful Palakkad gap and some parts of the adjoining Coimbatore district in Tamil Nadu.

Nelliyampathy gets its name from the pockets of Nelli (Indian gooseberry) trees that grow lavishly around this region.
