Preparation for Ganesh Chaturthi

The hugely popular Hindu festival of Ganesh Chaturthi occurs in September. Markets in Mumbai are doing brisk trade in connection with the festival. Authorities have also tightened security in and around the city to ensure an incident free festival. Special arrangements have been made to prevent any untoward incident in connector with the festival. Policemen have been stationed around the city at crowded places to observe any suspicious activities and prevent unfortunate occurrences.
