Kalidas Smarak in Ramtek, Nagpur

Located near Ramtek Temple in Nagpur, Maharashtra state of India, the Kalidasa Smarak is a memorial built in the memory of Kalidasa, the great poet. It is believed to be the site where Kalidas wrote Meghadootham, one of his most famous works. The interior of this monument has paintings portraying scenes from the plays of Kalidasa.
